Kripa hospital was started in the year 1993 by Dr.A.M.Anvar, as an Ayurveda Hospital at Kollam, Kerala, India with the ultimate aim of providing holistic, natural and effective treatment. The hospital was committed in taking guidance of all the advanced diagonistic methods of allopathy and effective natural treatment procedures of ayurveda. The present day diagonistic tools of Allopathy helps Ayurveda to judge the perfect treatment necessary to be carried on to any personnel. The hospital was equipped with Allopathic and Ayurvedic Doctors and all treatment procedures were decided after a thorough discussion. The Ayurvedic therapists were trained in-house for a minimum period of six months before being put into professional practice. All their work were absolutely monitored from time to time to ensure the strict procedures of Ayurvedic treatments.

Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital was promoted with all these experiences as a solid foundation. The promoters are a family of doctors both allopathic and ayurveda. Dr. MR Vasudevan Namboothiri was the former principal of Govt. Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram and Director of Ayurveda Medical Education, Kerala. He was the research guide for more than 80 thesis works done by various postgraduate doctors nationwide. Dr.MRV has more than 30years of clinical experience and expertise. Dr.MRV is the honorary member in scientific advisory committees of Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), Central Council for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha (CCRAS), Gujarat Ayurveda University (GAU), Jamnagar and the Patent cell of Govt. Of Kerala.

Dr.Anvar,BAMS.MD(ay), who is the key person, has done his 5 1/2 years bachelors degree in ayurveda-BAMS from center of excellence Government Ayurveda College, Kerala with flying colors with rank form the university. He did his 3 years post graduation MD in Ayurvedic Pharmacology and one year course in Medicine from AIMS. He has achieved great success in treating various diseases. He has been awarded the Young Achiever Award of the year 2004 by Jaycees International, Rashtreya Ratna Award by Global Economic council, Netaji Foundation Award for best Doctor, State Consumer Protection Award 2006 and International Excellence Award 2008 by Thatagath Foundation at Thailand.

Dr.Jaseela Anvar, BAMS is experienced with Ayurvedic Management of Gynecological Disorders. She completed her Bachelor in Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery from center of excellence Government Ayurveda College, Kerala.

Dr.Riju Khader M.D, PG Diab a postgraduate in Internal Medicine and Diabetologist had worked in the prestigious institutions of Kerala in the department of Cardiology/General Medicine.
